A sisal hemp scrub brush with a soft texture that will change your concept of tawashi. It is highly absorbent and becomes even softer when wet, making it suitable for washing coated frying pans. The material itself repels oil and dirt, making it great for pre-washing heavily soiled pots used for curry or meat sauce.
It lacks the typical prickly feel of a scrub brush and becomes even softer when soaked in water due to its high absorbency. Sisal hemp naturally repels oil and dirt, so you can wash pots and pans covered in curry or ketchup—which you might hesitate to do with a regular sponge—and easily remove the dirt with a small amount of detergent. Recommended for coated frying pans and for pre-washing heavily soiled items.
