Itohkyuemon Uji Matcha Seiju no Mori 20g

"Seiju no Mori" is a ceremonial grade Uji matcha produced by Itohkyuemon, a tea shop founded in 1832 with its main store in Kyoto Uji, a famous tea-producing region. It offers an accessible taste characterized by a refreshing, rich aroma and a pleasant lingering astringency. Recommended for both formal tea ceremonies and relaxing moments at home.

Place matcha (approx. 1.5g–2g) into a pre-warmed tea bowl, then pour in hot water (approx. 80°C, 60ml). Using a bamboo whisk (chasen), whisk vigorously in an "M" shape until frothy, and enjoy. To prevent lumps, we recommend sifting the matcha through a tea strainer beforehand.
