Shitsurindo Echizen Kataurushi Asakura Bowl

Ideal for use as a standard soup bowl. It offers a slightly larger capacity than typical soup bowls, making it perfect for hearty, chunky soups. It is also excellent for serving white rice, simmered dishes, or side dishes.

The bowl features a large, sturdy base for excellent stability. Its gently flared rim makes it easy to bring to the mouth and comfortable to hold. It is easily stackable and can be nested with the 4.5-sun size for convenient storage.

"Echizen Kataurushi" is a highly durable lacquer coating developed through an industry-academia-government collaboration with Fukui Prefecture and Fukui University, capable of withstanding dishwashers. The luxurious finish is achieved through the "Shinnuri" technique, which involves repeatedly filtering the lacquer to carefully remove dust and applying a single coat to leave no brush marks.
